This is a cute aesthetically pleasing cafe located inside hana world market. The aroma of freshly baked goods and coffee hits you coming in and leaving. Great service as well, very personable and friendly. I enjoyed the plain and strawberry croffle. They both had a nice caramel texture and the cream on top for the strawberry option was not too sweet which compliments it very well.
The owner introduced croffle with different types of toppings. They are very great and mouth watering. You should be warned not falling in love with this otherwise you can’t control your weight lol. The hot Margo latte is my favorite too. It’s a bit strong if you are not quite into coffee. You’ll love it no doubt
Tried the almond croffle and the macadamia nut salted caramel. The almond croffle was not too sweet. I enjoyed the crunch of the macadamia nut but the salted caramel makes it a little sweeter than I like. I warmed it up in the microwave for 10 seconds when I got home and it was still tasty.
Overall I would definitely recommend Cafe De Margo. The eating area is small but cute and the ambiance of the cafe is very pleasant and captures the very classic cafe feeling. Strawberry(10/10) - The whipped cream wasn't too sweet and had a great consistency, the strawberries were perfectly ripe Cheese(8/10) - Nice combination of sweet and savory Almond(8/10) - The roasted almonds had a plesent nutty taste and the powdered sugar added a little extra sweetness
I had a delicious latte with the white syrup, it was so rich and tasty and it’s hard for me to say it because I’m a coffee enthusiast. Also the korean style waffles were tooo good!! Costumer service top notch! You have a long term costumer thank you!
The croffles and coffee is really nice! The quality is high grade and the attention to detail is top notch. The owner and employees have excellent customer service skills and make you feel comfortable. If you're in North Austin this place is a must try.
